Yorkshire Status: Very rare and very local.

Like the previous two species, this moth feeds on Traveller's Joy, Clematis vitalba and is usually found in calcareous areas. It was first found in Yorkshire at Stapleton in 1998 and 1999 when moths were reared. There was then a gap until 2010 but since then, all records have come from Brockadale which is slightly to the south. There is evidently a healthy population there as it is recorded most years. This isolated population is some distance from the nearest records. It is not impossible that there are other populations in the county waiting to be discovered.
