Yorkshire Status: Uncommon and fairly widespread resident.

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Scattered widely across all five vice-counties, this beautiful moth is more attracted to sugar than light and is generally only recorded as frequent in central and eastern areas.

2012 (CHF): Widespread across the county, especially in light woodland with bramble. Virtually all recent records are at light.

Recorded in 145 (73%) of 200 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1847.
Last Recorded in 2022.
