Yorkshire Status: Scarce and thinly distributed or restricted resident.
Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: The first County record is uncertain, since that quoted in the 1970 list was taken at Totley, now in South Yorkshire, but originally in Derbyshire (VC57). Since then it has spread widely over the eastern half of the County (though very thinly in north VC62) and is likely to be taken in small numbers wherever a light trap is run as far west as Burley-in-Wharfedale and Bradford. There is no VC65 record.
2012 (CHF): Fairly widespread across the county apart from the north-west but some decline in the last few years.
Recorded in 119 (60%) of 200 10k Squares. First Recorded in 1929. Last Recorded in 2022. Additional Stats
