Yorkshire Status: Very rare and very local resident.

Beaumont, 2002: VC61. Spurn, 9.7.1994 (BRS). NEW COUNTY RECORD. VC64. Bellflask, 9.7.1999 (B&SM). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.

2012 (CHF): We only have three records of this scarce species, the two above and an old unpublished (and probably unconfirmed) record from Birstwith in 1886. Several other scarce species which feed on traveller's joy occur at a low density in the county and this moth may be resident in very low numbers. The VC65 record mentioned in Beaumont 2002 is in fact in VC64 (as above).

Recorded in 3 (2%) of 200 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1886.
Last Recorded in 1999.
