Yorkshire Status: Rare and local resident.

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: There have been one or two additional localities reported as well as further confirmation of the new localities from the 1970 list (YNU, 1970).

2012 (CHF): Still very local in birch woodland, mostly in the centre of the county. The majority of our records come from lowland heaths.

Argus 81, 2017: Locally common in heathland areas with birch. One at Hutton Conyers was a surprise being a good distance from the nearest known sites but it arrived after some strong easterly winds.
