Yorkshire Status: Very rare and very local migrant/wanderer.

This moth is usually considered to be a migrant from the continent though in recent years it seems to have become established on the south coast. Our only record, and the furthest north ever recorded, was one at Box Hill, Scarborough on 22/10/1993. It is being seen more commonly in recent years and it is likely that at some point in the future we ma;y see more records.
