Yorkshire Status: Common and fairly widespread resident.

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Now recorded from all five vice-counties but not west of a line through Harrogate, Leeds and Sheffield. It is thinly spread within the boundaries given.

2012 (CHF): The distribution has not altered much since 1989 though there is the suggestion of a little spread to the west. There has certainly been an expansion in numbers in the last ten years.

Recorded in 136 (68%) of 200 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1883.
Last Recorded in 2022.
