Yorkshire Status: Fairly common and fairly widespread resident.

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Present in many small isolated colonies in vice-counties 61-64, there has also been a single (dead) specimen reported from V65. Many colonies share sites with larger numbers of Z. lonicerae (Scheven).

2012 (CHF): Widespread across the county in flowery grassland and numbers seem to be stable. In contrast to the situation in 1989, we now have several VC65 records.

Recorded in 141 (71%) of 200 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1883.
Last Recorded in 2022.
