Yorkshire Status: Very rare and very local. No recent record.

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: There has only been one Yorkshire record of this rare species. It is usually associated with Breckland, downland or coastal dunes and it was in this last environment it was found in the Rothamsted Insect Survey trap at Spurn (VC61) on 12.8.1969 by B. R. Spence.

Current status (CHF, 2011): One at Spurn, 1969, was a possible wanderer from the Breckland population or an immigrant.
