Yorkshire Status: Uncommon and thinly distributed or restricted resident.
Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: This species is slowly increasing its northwards range, at first moving up the coast and now also inland. First found in Yorkshire at light in 1978 at Hornsea Mere by R. Hawley.
2012 (CHF): This species is now widespread across the county though much less common in the west. It has spread north into VC66. We receive between 100 and 200 records now per year.
