Yorkshire Status: Very rare and very local vagrant.

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: The last British record of this species was from Holgate, near York (VC64), on 19 August 1866 by Mr W. Prest (Porritt, 1883-86).

Current status (CHF, 2011): Last recorded in Yorkshire, 1866; with only three British records of this scarce migrant, we are unlikely to see it again.
