Yorkshire Status: Scarce and local resident.

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Recorded from a greater number of moorland localities than previously but very few specimens have been recorded from lower ground. There are no recent VC61 or VC63 records.

Argus 47, 2001-2004:

VC65. Hutton Conyers 8.7.1999 (CHF). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.

2012 (CHF): This species is still doing fairly well in VC64 and 65 but there have been no records from the North York Moors since 1998. This is one of the upland species that is probably suffering from recent climatic change and is losing populations at the south-east corner of its range.

Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required.
