Yorkshire Status: Scarce and thinly distributed or restricted resident.

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: This alder feeder is seldom common. It is recorded from all five vice-counties although it appears to be rather local in VC61.

2012 (CHF): Widespread across the county in small numbers and never far from alders.
