Argus 78, 2016: A new addition to the county list when two moths came to light at Little Preston. This moth feeds on Traveller's Joy and there are records not far to the south of Yorkshire so it is not entirely unexpected. Surprisingly our first record was not in VC63 where the foodplant is more common. Larvae may also feed on garden forms of Clematis so it is not impossible that imported plants may have played a part.

VC64. Little Preston, 22.7.2016 (JMa). NEW COUNTY RECORD.

Recorded in 1 (1%) of 200 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 2016.
Last Recorded in 2016.
