Yorkshire Status: Rare and very local resident.

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Not recorded since Porritt's list (1883-86). He cited a record from Richmond (VC65) and of a probably extinct colony on a recently destroyed barberry hedge near Doncaster (VC63). This species is now thought to be confined to one locality in Suffolk (Skinner, 1984).

Current status (CHF, 2011): Last recorded 1883, a Red Data Book species, extremely scarce and unlikely to recolonise unless reintroduced as part of a deliberate program.

Recorded in 2 (1%) of 200 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1883.
Last Recorded in 1883.
