Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Several localities for this formerly rare moth have been found since the early 1970s.

Argus 47, 2001-2004: VC65. High Batts, 29.7.1983 (SPW), 17.8.2002, 11.7.2003 (CHF, JCW, SPW), 6.8.2004 (JCW, SPW). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.

2012 (CHF): There has been a slow increase in numbers of records of this buckthorn-feeding species.

Recorded in 41 (21%) of 200 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1883.
Last Recorded in 2022.
