Yorkshire Status: Common and fairly widespread resident.
Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Recorded from all five vice-counties but generally in fairly small numbers.
2012 (CHF): This univoltine species flies later than Rivulet and appears with the second brood of this species. Records in May and early June are likely to be Rivulet. The two species can have very similar markings at times but there is little overlap in size. It is well distributed across the county in good numbers.
