Yorkshire Status: Uncommon and fairly widespread resident.
Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Found fairly commonly where red campion occurs in all five vice-counties, and has also been recorded from bladder campion in VC63 and probably white campion in VC64. Often found flying around the foodplant at dusk.
2012 (CHF): Widespread and doing well in the county.
