Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Recorded from all five vice-counties and consistently found in small numbers where foxgloves occur in the hillier areas of the County and more rarely elsewhere.

2012 (CHF): Commoner than the similar Toadflax Pug and well distributed all across the county.
