Yorkshire Status: Fairly common and fairly widespread resident.

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Now quite widely recorded over all five vice-counties. Whether this is an increase in population, an increase in recorders, or both is difficult to ascertain.

2012 (CHF): Uncommon in the west but common and widespread in the rest of the county. Numbers are stable.
