Yorkshire Status: Rare and very local resident.

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: There are four new localities for this species and one from where there had been no records for several years (Askham Bog). There are no further records for Grass Wood (VC64), the only recent site in the last list (YNU, 1970).

2012 (CHF): Very local in the county with scattered records from damp areas where common valerian grows. A population built up Spurn in the 1980s and 1990s but it has not been since 2005. It may be under-recorded as it is not an easy species to identify, usually needing dissection.

Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required.

Recorded in 23 (12%) of 200 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1883.
Last Recorded in 2022.
