VC62. Appletree Village, York, 7.6.1994; Burnholme, York, 16.6.1999 (MRB); Hutton Rudby, 19.6.2000 (GWF). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.

VC63. Rossington, 26.6.1990 then annually becoming very common (RIH); West Melton, 13.6.1995, 19.6.1998 then recorded frequently in 1999 and 2000 (HEB); Wintersett Country Park, 16.6 & 3.7.1999 det. BRS, 26.6.2000 (PSm, PM et al.). NEW COUNTY RECORD.

VC64. Menston, 16.6.1996 (JC); Malham Tarn, 1996 and subsequently (DB); Cawood, 17.6.1997 (JP); Headingley, Leeds, 2000 (JBo). Sharow, 2000 (S&JW). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.

2012 (CHF): From its first appearance in the county in 1990 this species has spread widely and can be found widely in all five vice-counties though it is still uncommon in the north west. The larvae are common on Leyland cypress (Cupressocyparis leylandii) and other similar species in gardens.

First Recorded in 1980.
