Yorkshire Status: Common and fairly widespread resident.

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Often recorded as 'frequent' in vice-counties 63 and 64 but records are scarce in the other three vice-counties. Specimens should be checked carefully to separate any C. chloerata (Mabille) but it is unwise to use superficial characters alone (AMR pers. comm.).

2012 (CHF): Common and widespread across all five vice-counties.

Recorded in 154 (77%) of 200 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1857.
Last Recorded in 2022.
