Yorkshire Status: Scarce and local resident.

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Very local, but much more widespread than formerly. Many records are from the Ripon and Harrogate area.

2012 (CHF): Local in broad-leaved woodland in the centre and east of the county. This moth occasionally produces a small second generation. A slight reduction in records but no change in range.

Recorded in 72 (36%) of 200 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1883.
Last Recorded in 2022.
