Yorkshire Status: Scarce and local resident.

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Appears rather local in Yorkshire, but may well be under-recorded because few people are out trapping in oak woodland so early in the season.

Argus 47, 2001-2004: VC65. Hutton Conyers (CHF), annually since. NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.

2012 (CHF): There have been increased numbers of records in recent years but this is probably due to some warm early springs tempting recorders to trap in oak woodland early in the year. Probably widespread in suitable habitat across the county.

Recorded in 87 (44%) of 200 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1846.
Last Recorded in 2023.
