Yorkshire Status: Common and fairly widespread resident.

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Recorded fairly frequently from vice-counties 61 to 64, but less widely in VC65. Slightly more widely distributed than the previous species [Lesser Swallow Prominent] in the east of the County and often also more common.

2012 (CHF): Common and widespread across all of the county in two overlapping broods with similar range and numbers to Swallow Prominent.

Recorded in 162 (81%) of 200 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1837.
Last Recorded in 2022.
