Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: There are three recent records for this species. Two of these are from its established sites at Allerthorpe and Strensall but one is a new site for this species in Yorkshire.

Beaumont, 2002: VC61. Allerthorpe Common, 14.8.1996 (ASE), reared 1998,2000 (MRB). VC62. Strensall Common, May 1991 (GBS); near Langdale End, larvae 1998 (Frost & Winter, 1999).

2012 (CHF): Most often recorded as larvae on creeping willow. The only records since 1998 have been from Allerthorpe and Strensall commons. In fact, looking at the national distribution maps, these are the only sites in the north of England with records since 2000.
