Yorkshire Status: Fairly common and thinly distributed or restricted resident.

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Recorded over all five vice-counties but usually only taken in ones or twos each year at any one locality. An exception to this is at Spurn (VC61) where it varies annually from one or two to quite numerous (BRS pers. comm.).

2012 (CHF): Widespread across the county in small numbers but rare on the higher ground. The largest numbers still occur at Spurn and range and population appear to be stable.

First Recorded in 1859.
Last Recorded in 2022.
