Yorkshire Status: Very rare and very local vagrant.

Argus 58, 2010: Spurn continues its reputation for scarce migrants. There have been about 20 previous British records of this species, usually in coastal locations. It is resident just across the channel in France and Belgium. VC61. Spurn, 15.5.2009 (BRS). NEW COUNTY RECORD.

Argus 84, 2018: Yorkshire's second and third records of this attractive migrant species. The first was at Spurn in 2009. Nationally, this is not a common migrant.

VC61. Easington (Spurn), 29.5.2018 (MFS); Spurn, 1.6.2018 (JHF).

Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required.
