Yorkshire Status: Uncommon and very local resident.

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Still recorded regularly at Spurn (VC61). There has been only one other recent report of this species in Yorkshire.

Beaumont, 2002: VC63. Rossington, 5.6.1999, 31.5.2000 (RIH). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.

2012 (CHF): Still present at Spurn but a slight reduction in numbers in the last few years. There were also records from Teesside between 2002 and 2006 and a single record from Hatfield Moor in 2008.

Recorded in 11 (6%) of 200 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1883.
Last Recorded in 2022.
