Yorkshire Status: Rare and very local resident. No recent record.
Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: There are few recent records of this primarily southern moth in Yorkshire. Sufficient work has now been done on the Wolds to indicate that it is unlikely to be established there, as was suggested previously (YNU, 1970). The VC62 and VC63 records are unconfirmed.
Current status (CHF, 2011): Last record 1985 - yet another moth in decline, possibly extinct nationally.
Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required.
