Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: This species has now been recorded from a few more localities in the County since the last list (YNU, 1970), but is still very local.
2012 (CHF): Still very local in the county and Yorkshire is the northern limit of this species. There are scattered records from our lowland heaths - Strensall, Skipwith and Thorne Moors - but at some of these it has not been seen for several years. The biggest counts by far have been from wetland areas near Bishop Monkton in VC64, eg 38 on 1.7.2006. This species can often be identified by a subtle pinkish tinge on the rather broad wings.
