Yorkshire Status: Scarce and local resident.

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Rather local but sometimes common where it does occur.

2012 (CHF): Still very local in the county and there have been declines in some areas particularly in VC63 where it has not been seen since 2001. Good numbers can appear at some sites eg 38 at Ellington Banks on 13.7.2005. It should be looked for in damp woodland with plenty of sallows.
