Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: At the time of the 1970 list (YNU, 1970) this species had become quite rare in the County. It now seems to be increasing again, but it is still generally local and uncommon.
2012 (CHF): Numbers have increased considerably following a low point of only one record in 1998 up to a high of 58 records in 2011. Fairly common in oak woodland in the centre of the county but more local elsewhere
