Yorkshire Status: Very rare and very local migrant/wanderer.
Argus 52, 2006: A totally unexpected addition to the Yorkshire list. A poplar feeder, confined to the south-east. Odd records have turned up in other places and this moth could have been a migrant. VC62. Grosmont, 24.9.2006 (WN). NEW COUNTY RECORD.
Current status (CHF, 2011): Grosmont 2006. Resident amongst poplars in East Anglia and north Kent, this species occasionally turns up in unusual places. This moth occurred at a time of high migrant activity and may have come from continental Europe.
Argus 66, 2012:
A big surprise. Yorkshire's second record following one in 2006. Almost certainly a migrant.
