Yorkshire Status: Very rare migrant/wanderer.

This poplar-feeding species is resident in East Anglia, counties north of London, and in some southern coastal areas. It occasionally turns up in other places and these moths are either migrants or wandering moths from further south. It was unknown in Britain until 1893. We have had three records as follows:
