Yorkshire Status: Very rare and very local resident.
Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: This species was added to the Yorkshire list when one was captured at East Ayton (VC62) on 27.7.1983 by T. A. Potter.
Argus 63, 2011: An exciting find following the one in Scarborough last year [2010]. This is the fourth County record. VC61. Lund, 4.8.2011 (MCo). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.
2012 (CHF): There have been records at Haxby in 1990, Scarborough in 2010 and Lund in 2011 so it appears that we have a small population in the east of the county. These are the most northerly records in the country.
