Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Most frequent in reed-beds along the Humber estuary. There are a few other Yorkshire localities for this species.
2012 (CHF): The vast majority of records used to be from VC61, particularly at Spurn, but there has been considerable recent movement to the north and west in recent years. This is another reed-feeding Wainscot which often wanders away from its usual habitat.
