Yorkshire Status: Very rare and very local vagrant.
Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Not recorded since Porritt (1883-86). He considered the single record, from Strensall Common (VC62), to need confirmation so it is doubtful whether this species should be included as a Yorkshire moth. However map 167 in MBGBI 10 shows 1-3 records from VC64 between 1835 and 1982. Either this is misplaced for Strensall or some other record exists.
Beaumont, 2002:
VC61. Kilnsea, 3.8.1999 (DPB).
2012 (CHF): We still have just the one confirmed record.
Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required.
Recorded in 1 (1%) of 200 10k Squares. First Recorded in 1999. Last Recorded in 1999. Additional Stats
