Yorkshire Status: Very rare and very local migrant/wanderer.

Argus 47, 2001-2004:

VC61. Rudston, 12.9.2002 (ASE). NEW COUNTY RECORD.

2012 (CHF): A further specimen of this rare migrant was trapped at Spurn in 2009. This species has been expanding its range in Europe for many years and the numbers of migrants in Britain have been steadily increasing.

Argus 84, 2018: The third county record of this migrant species after records in VC61 in 2002 and 2009.

VC63. Austerfield, 5.8.2018 (SB). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.

Argus 90, 2020: An old record surfaced when a photograph appeared on Facebook. This is the fourth county record. It came a month after the third, also in VC63.

Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required.
