Yorkshire Status: Abundant and widespread migrant/wanderer.

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: A ubiquitous migrant, recorded from all five vice-counties. It often becomes common in the autumn when home-bred specimens mix with further migrants.

2012 (CHF): The most widely-recorded species in the county with records in every month of the year. Numbers vary from year to year - the migrant autumn of 2006 producing the most records.
