Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Now recorded from vice-counties 61-63, although its main stronghold would still seem to be in VC62. This is a species which could easily be missed as it is relatively small and flies rapidly in sunlight. Another species which is recorded from the Teesdale fells in VC66 (Dunn & Parrack, 1986) although not from our side of the river.
2012 (CHF): The majority of our records still come from upland areas in the east of VC62 though there are scattered records from other parts of the county.
