Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Although still only recorded from one VC63 site, this species appears to have increased its range considerably, now also having many VC63 sites. The VC65 record previously mentioned for Copley (YNU, 1970) is thought to be an error for VC63, since the only Copley traced in Yorkshire is near Halifax.
2012 (CHF): This species is meant to be attracted to pheromone lures but all records are from daytime sightings or moths bred from birch stumps. Not seen since 2007 though its distribution seems to be quite widespread.
