Argus 47, 2001-2004: An increase in records of this immigrant moth was evident in 2003, with unprecedented numbers in 2004 suggesting that it may have become temporarily established around the Humber and Tees estuaries. VC62. South Gare, 21.6.2003 (DM, four 14.8.2004 (PWF); Coatham steel works, 21.7.2003 (C. W. Plant) (Langmaid & Young, 2004). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.

Argus 58, 2009: This moth has been recorded fairly regularly along the east coast in recent years, however the numbers recorded in the Spurn area during 2009 are exceptional and suggest a temporary resident population. VC61. Spurn NNR, 17 between 25.7 and 22.8.2009; Kilnsea, 3 & 10.8.2009 (BRS).
