Argus 58, 2009: The year 2009 saw a considerable increase in the number of records, with the totals in the Spurn area being unprecedented. VC61. Kilnsea, 20.7-26.8.2009 with ca.60 on 4.8.2009 gen. det. (BRS); Spurn NNR, 2-5.8.2009 (BRS). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD. VC64. Sharow, 5.8.2009 gen. det. CHF (JCW). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD. VC65. Hutton Conyers, 9.8.2009 gen. det. (CHF). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.
Current status (HEB, 2011): Formerly considered to be confined to the southern counties but it may have been overlooked as it requires dissection for a positive determination. The earliest Yorkshire records at Rossington and Potteric Carr NR (VC63) in 2001 may represent a northward shift in distribution, there have been further records from the Doncaster area and it has subsequently been found more widely, appearing for the first time in vice-counties 61, 64 & 65 in 2009. This under-recorded moth will surely be found more widely.
Argus 66, 2012: First recorded in the county as recently as 2001 this moth now has now occurred in all five vice-counties.
VC62. Guisborough, 8.9.2012 gen. det. (RWo). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.
