First seen in Yorkshire in 2010, the three previous records are all from VC63.

Current status (HEB, 2011): NEW COUNTY RECORD. The British distribution of this moth was formerly restricted to Scotland until it was found in southern England in 1991. Since then it has been found more widely, the first Yorkshire records being from Goole and Hatfield Moors (VC63) in 2010. It is likely to be found more widely amongst old birches.
Argus 72, 2014: Added to the Yorkshire list in 2010 since when it has occurred annually. Most records have come from the south of VC63.

Argus 84, 2018: This moth has occurred much more widely in recent years and is now present in all five vice-counties.
