Yorkshire Status: Rare and very local resident.

Argus 47, 2001-2004:

VC64. Bishop Wood, 8.6.2004 (EDC). NEW COUNTY RECORD.

Argus 50, 2005: This is only the second county record and comes hard on the heels of the first, from VC64 in 2004.

VC61. North Cliffe Wood, 30.5.2005 (EDC). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.

Argus 56, 2008: This is the third county occurrence; first recorded in Yorkshire in 2004 each record has been in a different vice-county.

VC63. Hatfield Moors, 7.6.2008 (HEB). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.

Argus 60, 2010: The fourth county record since the first in 2004; the manner of its occurrence is unusual.

VC63. West Haigh Wood, 23.6.2010, attracted to clearwing pheromone lure (HEB).

Current status (HEB, 2011): Although widely distributed in Britain the first Yorkshire record was from Bishop Wood (VC64) in 2004. This record was quickly followed by others from North Cliffe Wood (VC61) in 2005, then in VC63 at Hatfield Moors in 2008 and West Haigh Wood in 2010. This moth will surely be found more widely in Yorkshire.

Argus 66, 2012:

Records are sparse but this moth has now occurred in vice-counties 61-64.
