VC64. Kingstonia, Ripon, 21.7.2006 (D&DB). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.
Current status (HEB, 2011): The first county occurrence was at Edlington Wood (VC63) in 1991 but it was not seen again until one at Spurn (VC61) in 1999. From 2000 it has occurred quite widely, usually in small numbers, in vice-counties 61 and 63 with records in VC64 from 2006. This sycamore feeding species will undoubtedly be found to be more widespread in the future.
Argus 72, 2014: Since the first Yorkshire occurrence in 1991 this moth has become widespread and sometimes common in the south of the county. Its expansion into vice-counties 62 & 65 currently represents the northern limit of its range in Britain.
