Yorkshire Status: Very rare and very local.

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: VC62. Scarborough (Wilkinson, 1868); Linthorpe, Middlesborough, 'a nice lot' bred from spruce cones, end May 1916 by TAL (Morley, 1917). VC63. Huddersfield by PI (Porritt, 1883-86).

Argus 75, 2015: The first county record in almost one hundred years.

VC64. Hackfall Woods, 30.4.2014 (CHF). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.
