Yorkshire Status: Rare and local resident.

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Recorded from all five vice-counties, this is a common moth in Pennine localities, the Dales and North York Moors. On the lower ground it is much less frequent and there is only a single record from VC61, Skipwith Common, 1894 (Ash, 1895).

Recorded in 30 (15%) of 200 10k Squares.
