Yorkshire Status: Very rare and very local migrant/wanderer.
Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: A scarce but regular immigrant to southern England which seldom occurs as far north as Yorkshire.
VC63. Wath-on-Dearne, one male to MV light 5.9.1958 (Seago, 1959).
Beaumont, 2002: This is only the second Yorkshire record of this immigrant moth.
VC63. Wintersett Country Park, 1.10.2000 (PSm, PM et al.).
Argus 47, 2001-2004: Amazingly this is the second consecutive year that this scarce immigrant has been recorded at this site. All three county records are from inland localities in VC63.

Argus 54, 2007: Although this is the fourth county record of this immigrant moth, surprisingly it is the first from a coastal locality, all three previous records having been from VC63.

Argus 69, 2013: This immigrant moth has appeared more frequently during the past two years, previous records were all from the south of Yorkshire in vice-counties 61 & 63.
VC65. Hutton Conyers, 25.10.2013 (CHF). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.
Argus 72, 2014: There were four records of this immigrant moth in 2014 but two additional records from 2013 bring the total for that year to five.
VC64. Tadcaster, 31.10.2014 (DBa). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.
